Golf outings aren't just about leisure—they're a chance to grow your business. Whether you're looking to build new connections, strengthen existing relationships, close a deal, or bond with your team, a day on the course offers a productive and enjoyable experience.

The GWCC Golf Outing is one of the summer's premier business events, giving you the opportunity to network with fellow members and their guests while enjoying 18 holes at the stunning and exclusive Wausau Country Club.

Not a golfer? No problem! Join us for the dinner reception with our non-golfer, reception-only registration option.

Spots are limited. Registration will open on Monday, March 9th!

This event is members only - non-members can join with a member & pre-registration.

18-Hole Registration*

  • Access to practice range and balls

Outing Format & Play

The outing follows a best-ball scramble format with a two-putt rule.

  • Men tee off from the white tees; women tee off from the red tees.
  • Scorecards must be submitted to the Wausau Country Club Pro Shop immediately after play.

Dress Code

The Wausau Country Club enforces a dress code prohibiting jeans, cutoffs, sweatpants, tank tops, halter tops, and metal spikes. Please dress accordingly.

Lunch & Reception*

  • Lunch: Details coming soon!
  • Reception: Heavy hors d'oeuvres served after golfing.

Special dietary requests must be submitted during registration. While every effort will be made to accommodate these requests, we cannot guarantee them unless submitted at least two weeks prior to the event.

Please bring CASH for contests and drinks throughout the day!

Event Sponsorship

The GWCC Golf Outing is an excellent opportunity to position your business in front of up to 150 golfers while fostering new connections and strengthening existing relationships—all while enjoying a great day on the course.

Sponsorship opportunities range from $300 to $4,000.
