Join us for a ribbon cutting to celebrate United Way of Marathon County’s on-site and reimagined Community Closet! The public and media are invited to attend.

This expanded service offers everyday clothing for guests of all ages, free of charge, and no income verification.

The new Community Closet is a spin-off of the previous Rebecca’s Closet and Career Closet where clothes were distributed to the community through a service agency or provider. Now, guests can come in and choose the clothing that best represents their style and needs. 

The Community Closet will be open three days a week for in-store shopping!

Ribbon cuttings and groundbreakings are held at member investor facilities that have celebrated one of the following successes:

  • Broke ground or opened a new facility
  • Moved to a new location
  • Remodeled an existing facility
  • Welcomed new ownership
  • Underwent a significant re-branding or name change

For planning purposes, RSVPs are requested for this event.
