Advocacy Afternoon: Insider Briefing and Legislator Panel - 2022-05-09

Description

The State of Wisconsin and greater Wausau region are at a pivotal economic juncture. The state and local economy face several challenges that impede economic growth. According to a recent Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce survey as well as survey of the Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce members, the persistent labor shortage, high taxes, and regulatory environment pose significant challenges to business growth and competitiveness.

To provide greater context to the challenges facing the business community, the Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce Business Advocacy Committee brings forth a program that all business leaders should attend.

Scott Manley, WMC’s Executive Vice President of Government Relations, will offer an assessment of the current political environment and critical policy implications with the upcoming fall 2022 elections.
