Event Description: 

Local human resources executives will host this important program, which will offer a strategic perspective on creating a positive workplace culture for businesses of all types. The program will be presented in an interactive workshop format, including opportunities to collaborate with both members of your team and those outside your organization

There will be a focus on assessing current culture, employee engagement, retention, and attraction strategies as well as a reflection on where the culture of your workplace is and where you would like it to be. Panelists will then work with you to create obtainable goals and plan your first steps of action towards achieving a productive and healthy workplace culture. 

What Attendees Can Expect:

  • A relevant educational program, designed by a committee of leading HR executives.
  • A focused workshop designed for your professional and departmental growth. 
  • A comprehensive look at what workplace culture is, why it is important, and the effects it has on organizational success.
  • An evaluation of your organization's current culture status and what actions you can take.
  • Shared best practices for implementing employee engagement, retention, and attraction.
  • A peek inside proven onboarding/orientation practices with an emphasis on communication and front-line leadership.

Facilitators:

        Robin Hegg, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Human Resources Manager, Greenheck Group

This interactive workshop will be facilitated by Robin Hegg, Human Resources Manager with the Greenheck Group. Robin has over 25 years of experience in Human Resources and Organizational Development. 

Robin is very passionate about being highly involved in the community and has served on the Board of Directors for the Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce, Boys and Girls Club of the Wausau Area, United Way of Marathon County, and the Central Wisconsin Society for Human Resource Management.

        Michelle Seltrecht, SPHR, Talent Development Manager, Greenheck Group

Joining Robin as a facilitator is Michelle Seltrecht. Michelle has served in the Human Resources industry for 12 years and is currently serving as the Talent Development Manager for the Greenheck Group.

Michelle has a passion for continuously learning and sharing ideas with others on topics revolving around Human Resources. With a focus on employee development programs and assessments, Michelle finds enjoyment in helping people develop the skills to excel in their careers and contribute to organizational growth.

Danielle Hertel, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Human Resources Director, Merrill Steel 

Rounding out this power team of Central Wisconsin Human Relations Specialists is Danielle Hertel. Danielle has been working in HR for the past 22 years and is currently serving as the Human Resources Director for Merrill Steel in Weston.

Danielle has an internal responsibility to every company she works with to create an organization and a staff that are the best version of themselves. With passions for recruiting, employee relations, risk management, and change implementation, Danielle will bring topics to the table that are front and center in all our occupations.
