This workshop will explore the practical applications of innovative technologies and their benefits for businesses of all sizes, regardless of industry.
Attendees will examine the advantages of adopting technologies like AI, IoT, and blockchain through real-world examples of successful implementations. The session will also address the risks and challenges associated with technology investments and provide strategies for mitigating them.
Participants will work together to identify how to initiate business workflow optimization and automation project roadmaps. The workshop will cover techniques for streamlining workflows and introduce tools for automation. This interactive session will include group discussions and a Q&A segment to ensure all questions are addressed.
Meet Your Instructor:
Nate brings over 25 years of experience as a technology evangelist and leader to the Powering Innovation Program, with expertise spanning both IT and Operational Technology (OT). His career journey includes founding MinOTmen, a tech consultancy that empowers businesses to make informed technology decisions. Nate draws on a strong background in engineering, project management, and team leadership across the manufacturing, healthcare, and construction sectors. He excels at developing strategies, optimizing processes, and aligning technology with business needs. His skill set includes OT/IoT systems, risk management, and deep knowledge of industry standards such as NIST-CSF, ITIL, and ISO-31000. Nate is passionate about empowering the greater Wausau community to build sustainable, innovative businesses by leveraging his experience and wide-ranging resources.
