County Materials Sports Complex – Village of Marathon City

This impressive community project features:

• Three high school softball and youth baseball fields
• A new concession stand and press box facility
• Two outdoor basketball courts
• Two pickleball courts
• A modern, all‑ages playground

With a total project investment of $4.2 million, the County Materials Sports Complex has been made possible almost entirely through generous donations and extraordinary public support. We extend our sincere appreciation to the donors, community members, and partners who helped bring this vision to life.

This family‑friendly public event will also include:

• Village of Marathon City Fire Department – trucks and equipment on display
• Village Police Department – equipment available for children to explore
• Food truck on-site – available for anyone who would like to purchase lunch

Join us as we celebrate this major milestone and officially open a facility that will serve athletes, families, and community members for generations to come.

Ribbon cuttings and groundbreakings are held at member investor facilities that have celebrated one of the following successes:

• Broke ground or opened a new facility
• Moved to a new location
• Remodeled an existing facility
• Welcomed new ownership
• Underwent a significant re-branding or name change
