The McLit Bee Benefit is an evening of unforgettable fun that heightens community awareness, shares our impact, and increases the understanding of the vital role that adult education and literacy play in our community. 

We truly believe the learning process never stops and an Adult Spelling Bee demonstrates that beautifully!

The Spelling Bee is our main fundraiser of the year. Teams of two compete against each other to garner the title “Best Speller in Wausau.” Each member of the winning team gets a trophy and certificate declaring their title. This year, returning players will be back in new teams so competition will be fierce. 

Tickets are $7 online or $10 at the door.

In addition, we will have a silent auction, wine pull, and 50/50 raffle. Silent auction baskets are items donated from our community. These include a PACKERS FOOTBALL signed by the 2024 team and coaches.

Refreshments will be provided by our sponsors.
