Blessings in a Backpack receives $7,825

Blessings in a Backpack received $7,825 this holiday season between Prevail Bank’s Holiday Matching Funds campaign and Prevail Bank’s Charitable Contributions Program.

As part of the Bank’s Holiday Matching Funds campaign, monetary donations were accepted from the public (November 10 - December 5) and then doubled by Prevail Bank, up to $1,000. Prevail Bank’s contribution to the grand total was $1,000.

Numerous Prevail Bank professionals presented the big checks. Sarah Jones, Media Specialist for Blessings in a Backpack and Program Coordinators Erin Noll and Mary Krueger accepted them. Sarah, Erin, and Mary are centered in the photo (L to R).

Bank-wide, through the Holiday Matching Funds Campaign, a remarkable $25,857 was gifted between the public and Prevail Bank, supporting nine nonprofit organizations. Every branch chose a different nonprofit to champion, matching public donations up to $1,000 per branch.

The benefiting nonprofits were: Sauk County Children’s Giving Tree, Eau Claire County Department of Human Services’ Children’s Giving Tree, Catkins Animal Rescue, Owen-Withee Food Pantry, Taylor County Food Pantry, Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Wisconsin, Blessings in a Backpack, and FOCUS (Feeding Our Communities with United Services).
