Chamber publishes new editions of relocation guide, dining guide

WAUSAU — The Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce has published a new edition of the organization’s annual relocation guide. This magazine-quality piece is designed as a tool for those who are new to the area or contemplating a move to central Wisconsin to better understand what the region offers. New in 2026, a companion dining guide has also been published. These printed pieces are an important talent attraction and retention tool for local businesses.

Employers are encouraged to use these guides as a retention resource within their organizations and as an employee recruitment tool. Copies of the guides are available at the Chamber’s office in the historic downtown train depot during office hours and at participating member locations in the area.

"The Chamber's annual relocation guide publication is part of an ongoing effort to attract both people and businesses to our region," said Brian Otten, Marketing and Workforce Development Director with the Chamber. "And the new dining guide highlights what local foodies have known for a long time. We have a lot of great dining options here.”

Some of the topics highlighted in the new relocation guide include information on local neighborhoods, schools, healthcare, recreational opportunities and the arts. It also highlights the amenities that make the region attractive. The dining guide includes profiles of several restaurants and a directory which includes information on dozens of member businesses.

Both the relocation guide and dining guide are also available for viewing on WausauChamber.com.
