Prevail Bank has named Christie Gunderson as its Chief People Officer, based in Wausau. Gunderson brings decades of experience in human resources, with strengths in change leadership, building strong teams, and creating cultures of accountability and trust. She will lead the Bank’s enterprise-wide people strategy, with a focus on strengthening performance, leadership, employee experience, and culture.

Outside of work, Gunderson enjoys traveling with her husband, Scott, and making the most of their time together – whether that means traveling somewhere new, enjoying a weekend getaway or simply finding a great place for dinner. She values good conversation, genuine connections, and a little fun along the way.
