Tulsa, OK (Sept. 3, 2026) – Greenheck Group, a leading manufacturer of commercial air movement, control and conditioning equipment, in partnership with the Tulsa Regional Chamber, today announced the company’s plans to acquire the former Macy’s distribution facility in Owasso, Oklahoma in what represents a major expansion of its Oklahoma operations.

Located less than 15 minutes from Greenheck Group’s existing Tulsa location, the 1.3 million-square-foot facility sits on 72 acres and will provide significant manufacturing and office space to support the company’s continued growth. Greenheck Group expects to finalize initial building upfit improvements by spring 2027, with the first production beginning shortly thereafter.

Greenheck Group first announced plans to build a Tulsa campus in 2017 at Apache and 129^th East Avenue. The company’s original location has since grown to eight buildings, 850,000 square feet of manufacturing space and over 900 team members. The new Owasso location is expected to represent approximately $300 million in capital investment and create more than 700 new jobs over the next five years – more than doubling the company’s manufacturing footprint in Oklahoma.

The acquisition of the facility, located in north Tulsa County, drew praise from area officials who see it as a boost for the local economy and workforce.

“Less than a year after this facility lost hundreds of jobs, Greenheck Group is making a major investment and bringing hundreds of new manufacturing careers to our region,” Tulsa County Commissioner Stan Sallee said. “Greenheck Group’s investment says a lot about the strength of Oklahoma’s workforce, our economy and our ability to compete.”

The expansion also reflects a strong partnership at the state level, with Oklahoma's governor taking a hands-on role in securing the deal.

“I am proud to have been a part of the process of bringing more Greenheck Group jobs to Oklahoma,” said Governor Kevin Stitt. “I met with the Greenheck Group team in my office, and we were able to work out the terms of the deal. We will have more details coming out at our joint press conference on September 18.”
