Prevail Bank Supports Children’s Imaginarium with a $3,000 and a $1,337 Donation

(Wausau) The Children’s Imaginarium, an educational interactive museum, received $3,000 from Prevail Bank in support of its STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) field trip fund. This contribution was awarded through Prevail Bank’s Charitable Contributions Committee.

The $1,337 was the result of Prevail Bank’s recent Community Shred Event. Prevail Bank pledged $1, up to $1,000, for every pound of paper brought to be shredded; and the community rose to the challenge, bringing in a whopping 5,000 pounds of paper to be safely destroyed and recycled! The public chipped in an additional $337 in donations, bringing the total gift to $1,337.

“The shred event was a win-win,” said Luke Champine, Prevail Bank Branch Manager. “We helped people protect their personal information while supporting a cause that makes a real difference right here in our community.”

The charitable contribution to the Children’s Imaginarium was one of 25 nonprofit monetary gifts. The Committee donated a total of $109,945 to organizations that serve low-to-moderate income households, support local economic growth, provide financial education, or enhance the quality of life for underserved populations across the communities Prevail Bank serves.
