Prevail Bank Supports Shared Blessings with $2,000 Donation
Through its Charitable Contributions Program, Prevail Bank awarded a $2,000 donation to Shared Blessings to purchase a specially designed race cart.
Shared Blessings is a community-based organization that focuses on offering inclusive recreational opportunities for individuals of all ages and abilities for Central Wisconsin families. Many of these recreational activities are related to running events like 5ks, 10ks, and marathons within the surrounding areas. Volunteers, otherwise known as the “Trail Blazers”, run with and push individuals in these specially designed carts or pull them in the cart behind a bike --- ultimately providing the thrill of participating in a race like everyone else. Because they currently rely on family-owned carts and the few donated ones, Prevail Bank contributed $2,000 towards the purchase of an additional race cart.
Twenty-nine (29) nonprofit organizations received funding from Prevail Bank this spring; Shared Blessings was one of them. In total, $82,500 was distributed to organizations that support low-to-moderate income households, boost local economies, provide financial education, and improve quality of life for underserved populations across the communities Prevail Bank serves.
Tammy Schueller, Prevail Bank Branch Manager (L) presented the check to Shared Blessings members Angel Powell, Amanda Powell, and Autum (sitting in cart).
