REI PRESENTS SCHOLARSHIPS TO D.C. EVEREST AND MERRILL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

WAUSAU – REI Engineering, Inc. (REI) is proud to present scholarships to outstanding students at D.C. Everest and Merrill High Schools.  This year’s scholarship recipients include Ella Szekeress and Lucky Ferrario from D.C. Everest and Parker and Chase Klebenow from Merrill High School class of 2025 graduates.  Ms. Szekeress will be attending Michigan Technological University where she plans to study Civil Engineering.  Ms. Ferrario will be attending Marquette University and is planning to pursue Criminology and Law Studies on the Pre-Law track.  Chase Klebenow will be attending UW-Madison to study Electrical Engineering while Parker Klebenow will be attending UW-La Crosse where he will be exploring a degree in Science.

The scholarship program is for the children of REI team members.  The scholarships were developed in 2015 to assist with the cost of post high school education.

“We are proud and excited to offer a unique benefit for our team members and their families,” REI President Jen Nieuwenhuis stated.  “The scholarships reflect our companies’ commitment to offering a team-oriented culture that strengthens both retention and recruitment efforts.”

Interested applicants submit a scholarship application form and essay describing what being a successful member of the community means to him or her.
