WAUSAU – REI Engineering, Inc. (REI) has welcomed a new member to its team of professionals. Samuel Fraaza, Project Engineer, joins REI’s Civil Construction Team.

Mr. Fraaza’s primary responsibilities include inspection and contract administration of construction projects while ensuring the materials meet the contract’s specifications.  Mr. Fraaza is also responsible for communicating with the client and contractor if any changes or issues arise on the project and to work resolve these scenarios in a timely manner.

Sam hails from Wittenberg/Birnamwood area and is a recent graduate of UW-Platteville where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering, Structural emphasis, and a minor in Business Administration.  During his time at university, Sam excelled in leadership roles.  As Vice President of the Interfraternity Council he spearheaded constitutional changes, led judiciary boards for disciplinary hearings, organized collaborative events with other fraternities, and assisted the President with biweekly meetings.  As Treasurer of Phi Sigma Fraternity Sam managed financial records, initiated fundraising opportunities, and coordinated meaningful events, including banquets and senior send-offs.  Additionally, he designed new pennants for the fraternity to wear.
