With the mission to inspire charitable giving to invest in a brighter community, the Community Foundation believes that specifically supporting women and girls is one of the smartest, highest-return investments we can make. Across our region, too many women face barriers to economic security, healthcare, education, and safety. These aren’t just individual struggles; they’re systemic challenges that demand bold, collaborative solutions. But every woman has a story: a mother dreaming of a brighter future for her and her children, a survivor finding her voice, a young leader determined to break barriers. The Women’s Fund for Marathon County was created to respond to these needs, serving as a dedicated philanthropic resource to invest in programs and partnerships to empower women and strengthen families.

With decades of experience addressing our community’s most pressing needs and connecting generous donors with meaningful impact, the Community Foundation is uniquely positioned to launch this Women’s Fund and create lasting change.
